Practical and functional packaging
STRUCTURIX D2
Feature: ultra fine grain film with very high contrast. Ideal for inspections that require the detection of the smallest detail possible.
Applications: electronic components, composite materials, fusion (light metals and alloys), multiple film techniques.
STRUCTURIX D3
Feature: ultra fine grain film with very high contrast. This film guarantees a high identification of details, able to meet the requirements of the most critical NDT applications. For exposures with lead shields using X-rays, gamma rays and ionizing radiation with energies in the order of MegaVolts.
Applications: electronic components, composite materials, castings, high quality welding, aerospace and aircraft industry, multiple film techniques.
STRUCTURIX D4
Feature: extra fine grained film with very high contrast. Suitable for a wide variety of critical applications. For exposures with lead shields using X-rays, gamma rays and ionizing radiation with energies in the order of MegaVolts.
Applications: electronic components, composite materials, fusion, high quality welding, nuclear and defense industries, aerospace and aircraft industries, multiple film techniques.
STRUCTURIX D5
Feature: very fine grained film with high contrast. Excellent to display discontinuity. Particularly suitable in combination with lead patterns using both X-ray and Gamma rays.
Applications: Welding, castings, shipyards, aerospace industry and aircraft, multiple film techniques.
STRUCTURIX D7
Feature: fine-grained film with high contrast and high speed. Developed for direct exposures or with lead shields (using both X-ray and Gamma rays).
Applications: Welding and castings, defense sector, aerospace industry and aircraft, composite materials, multiple film techniques.
All GE AGFA Structurix X-ray films are available with the following packaging:
NIF: cheaper solution, in which the films are packaged in units of 100 in a paalpo bag (light-tight bag) inside a cardboard box.
FW: each film is wrapped in a protective tissue paper to prevent handling errors in the darkroom, as well as facilitating the storage and protection of the film after development.
DW ETE: package with lead-acid, light-tight, moisture-proof and oil-proof shields.
Pb VACUPAC: completely light-tight, air-tight and moisture-proof, the film / screen coupling guarantees tightness even when the VACUPAC is positioned around spherical or curved parts.
ROLLPAC: available in both Pb and DW versions, the packaging guarantees optimal contact on spherical surfaces or tubular objects.
